We are currently in search of a Videographer/Editor to join our Marketing & Creative team! The Videographer/Editor will help Feed the Children increase the use and effectiveness of video and custom photography to optimize new and existing creative assets. The Videographer/Editor will be responsible for creating engaging digital and traditional content in the form of video and photography that educates and informs internal and external audiences about Feed the Children’s mission, programs, and impact. The candidate must possess the ability to effectively concept, create, edit and implement video/photography programs, campaigns and strategies for specific target audiences. This position will report directly to the Sr. Video Production Manager.
NOTE: This position will work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK and is not a remote position. We are beginning our recruiting efforts now, however this position will not begin work until September 2023.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in film/video/media production or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
3+ years of progressive experience and skill set in video production, editing, and photography.
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
Must be able to present a current online portfolio of work including a demo reel.
Proficiency analyzing business requirements, concept, construct, test, and implementing solutions with limited supervision in a fast-paced, on-demand environment.
Highly motivated self-starter with experience delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines and budget
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this job may be considered.
Essential Functions:
In collaboration with the marketing and creative team, communications, fundraising and other internal stakeholders, the Videographer/Editor will manage video and photography projects from concept to completion, including research, story development, location/talent scouting, videography and post-production editing.
Oversee original story/program concepts for video content and conduct research to obtain necessary information for story lines. This includes proactively securing and conducting interviews with external corporate and community partners as well as beneficiaries.
Capture material for production using internal video and photography equipment.
Determine technical creative decisions regarding such elements as lighting, shooting angles and audio needs.
Perform all editing and post-production activities which includes reviewing and archiving footage, making editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustments, music selections, color corrections and final editing.
Utilizes music, graphic design and special effects as appropriate to deliver finished projects which convey the determined production concepts.
Implement and maintain the company’s Global Media Library. Manage video production and photography platform and on-site video and photography studio.
Ensure quality control for assigned video and photography deliverables and confirm they are completed within time and budget constraints.
Ensure that the delivered products or services adhere to the brand policies and standards of the organization.
Provide creative consulting to other departments, leveraging creative and marketing knowledge to develop new creative campaigns for specific targets.
Lead and/or participate in video strategy sessions with stakeholders and other creatives when engaging in new projects.
Must possess ability to create and/or contribute to a comprehensive proposal and present to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Maintain relationships and communication with key internal stakeholders.
Work with Director of Creative Services to track jobs, requirements, progress, timelines and cost opportunities.
Prepare project specifications, project work agreements and proposals for clients.
Travel: The travel requirements for this position are estimated to be <30% of the work time. Travel will include Domestic and International travel. Driver’s license and passport required.
