Job Purpose: GSM Outdoors is looking for a talented Video Producer & Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished Adobe Premiere project that matches our vision and is suitable for broadcasting. Ultimately, as a Video Producer & Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Summary Of Essential Job Duties

Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Create rough and final cuts.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a video editor.
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Creative Suites; Premiere, Photoshop, etc).
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.
Logging footage via Adobe Premium
Cutting and editing reels for social media content

Required Education And Experience

5 years minimum experience
Strong working experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Strong working experience with Photoshop
YouTube & TC edit specifications knowledge
Ability to work on-site Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
