Position Overview:

We are looking for a Video Editor with a strong background in video production and post-production. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a video studio, making informed equipment recommendations, and developing efficient video workflows. This role will also involve managing and archiving our video assets to ensure easy access for future projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Studio Management: Operate and manage our in-house video studio, ensuring all equipment is maintained and functioning efficiently.
  • Equipment Recommendations: Evaluate and suggest video production equipment to enhance the quality and efficiency of our content.
  • Video Workflow Implementation: Develop and implement streamlined workflows for video editing and production.
  • Asset Management: Archive and organize video content to create an easily accessible library for future use.
  • Content Editing: Edit video content for clarity, engagement, and alignment with brand guidelines, including adding graphics, animations, and other visual elements as needed.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Content: Create engaging behind-the-scenes content around the office to showcase our team culture and work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, instructors, and marketing teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Review and ensure the technical quality and consistency of all video outputs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in video editing and production.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. Knowledge of video compression, encoding, and file formats.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with professional video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and maintain a structured video asset library.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for quality and precision in editing.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and post-production.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in educational or corporate training content.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics software such as After Effects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions for video assets.
