About The Opportunity
Join Red Door Collaborative’s freelance team as a Video Editor, contributing to our client’s successes by providing dynamic video content. As a key player in our behind-the-scenes video production team, you will work on diverse projects, including motion projects, live streaming content, and other video needs. Your role involves editing both short and long formats, ensuring the final product represents the best of Red Door Collaborative’s creative team and showcases your editing prowess.
Responsibilities
- Edit short- and long-form videos aligning with project specifications.
- Provide video ideation and creation support, ensuring consistency and high quality.
- Implement creative feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance video content.
- Set and maintain a high standard for video-based deliverables, enhancing the overall capabilities of our existing internal team.
- Ensure consistency and effectiveness of video deliverables across diverse audiences and platforms.
- Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process to streamline workflow and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro.
- Excellent communication skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to select attention-grabbing shots and craft compelling storytelling narratives.
- Knowledge of advanced editing principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience working with multi-track split audio and knowledge of aspect ratios.
- Familiarity with high-resolution file transfer applications and video encoding formats.
- Talent for sound design to enhance the overall video experience.
