EarthCam is currently seeking a full-time Junior Video Editor to fill a position located at the corporate office in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
This individual will be responsible for assembling materials such as graphics, photography, dialogue, raw camera footage, sound effects and other special effects into a finished product with quality, length or production acceptable for broadcasting.
Who We Are:
From entertainment and promotional applications for tourism, to monitoring and documentation for the construction industry, EarthCam provides hosted infrastructure to stream video to public websites and social media outlets, as well as archive high resolution megapixel images for producing cinematic time-lapse movies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Editing video and graphics
- Responsible for continuity, quality, and content before any video is released
- Work with different departments including but not limited to clients and management
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Creating motion graphic videos
Who YOU are:
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Media Production or related field or equivalent experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of video editing tools – Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Pro Tools
- Knowledge in compression rates, video and audio codecs, frame rates, standard and HD dimensions and both digital and analogue media formats
- Experience with DSLR cameras
- Experiencing creating motion graphics
- Composition skills
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organization skills
- Recording and working with music and voices is a plus
