Primary Function
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and natural storyteller. Exceptional videography and Adobe Premiere editing skills are a must along with strong script writing and time management abilities.
You have a deep interest in and knowledge of the markets, financial sector and are excited to be a part of a team in developing short form social first video content around all aspects of finance.
Knowledge of how audiences engage with video, both horizontally and vertically is critical. We are looking for someone who can research, develop, write, shoot, and edit stories; a “one-person band”.
This is a hybrid (in-person/remote) position with a minimum of at least 3days in office per week, depending on active production.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the overall efforts of the creative team; execute innovative creative projects through solid brand strategy.
- Work with internal partners and stakeholders to create end to end video content from concept to delivery, including direction of on camera talent
- Participate in developing creative strategies, brainstorming, and storyboarding for video projects.
- Execute video shoots both on-site in studio location and offsite locations; overseeing crew and managing equipment needs.
- Edit and animate video content for all applicable platforms and applications as needed.
- Produce quick turn videos to support a wide variety of personas and voices from within the firm.
- Maintain competency with emerging photo/video technologies and equipment.
- Track and manage on-going content development, including managing organization and storage.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of video equipment including but not limited to iPhone camera; DSLR cameras, basic lighting kit, audio recording equipment.
- Must have strong knowledge of editing platforms including but not limited to premier pro, aftereffects, adobe creative suite.
Education & Experience
- 3+ years experience with Adobe Premiere.
- 4+ years experience managing and operating video equipment.
