Social Media Video Editor
The Social Media Video Editor will be responsible in producing creative assets for Madewell’s organic social media channels. The candidate should have a mastery of Adobe Creative Suite apps and be skilled at working with multimedia content—video, still photography, and graphic design.
We’re looking for a multi-faceted candidate with strong storytelling capabilities, who’s a social media expert with a keen pulse on current content trends—especially on Instagram and TikTok. This candidate must be a self-starter, who’s just as comfortable bringing innovative ideas to the team as well as executing them.
This role will serve as a creator in the office or on location; experience in videography and editing for social content on iPhone or cinema cameras is a must.
The Social Media Video Editor will work closely alongside an in-house team of art directors and producers. This role will report into the Art Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shoot and edit impactful, social-first content for both Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging social channels
- Ability to execute innovative social media concepts for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Expertise working with mixed media for Instagram Reels and Stories (stills, design, video) while utilizing standard industry software and practices
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cooperation with both internal creative team and external vendors.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Frame.io is required
- Experience shooting on cinema cameras and other on-set equipment is a plus
- Experience with photography and light retouching is a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3+ years of content experience in an ad/brand/social agency setting
- Must have a portfolio with relevant work examples
- Has a collaborative spirit and strong storytelling skills
- Always pays attention to detail and project deadlines
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple projects, shoots, and priorities

Salary Range: $72,500.00 – $87,000.00
