Job Summary: Located in one of America’s best cities to live in, U.S. Money Reserve is a fast-paced and evolving company actively seeking a driven and passionate individual who is well-versed in video editing, video production, and marketing. This person should bring at least 10 years of experience, working with input and feedback from creative directors directly to translate creative feedback from rough cut to polished final edit. Due to rapid changes in market conditions, this position provides exciting opportunities to frequently brainstorm new marketing efforts to respond to worldly events. The ideal candidate should have 10 years of experience within the advertising, marketing, or production field. A two or four-year degree in marketing, advertising, social media, radio television and film, production, or a related field is a plus. The candidate will work with the team on our national broadcast advertising campaigns as well as a variety of other internal and external video projects. USMR has a large video production center that is growing daily with over a dozen edit bays, and finishing suites. Must operate at a Master level as an editor, ready to work with the team. Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other team members to conceptualize and execute video projects that effectively communicate key messages and enhance brand identity.
  • Master-level proficiency with Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Lead the editing process from start to finish, including assembling raw footage, editing content to meet project objectives, and integrating motion graphics and animation to enhance visual appeal.
  • Create dynamic motion graphics, animated titles, and visual effects to elevate the quality and impact of video content.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video assets, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing and motion graphics to continuously improve skills and techniques.
  • Mentor junior editors and guide advanced editing techniques, motion graphics, and animation best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and freelancers as needed to support video production needs.

 

Qualifications, Attributes, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on motion graphics and animation.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with popular editing platforms like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, cinematic techniques, and video production workflows.
  • Excellent creative vision and attention to detail, with the ability to bring concepts to life through compelling visuals.
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of video projects, including corporate videos, promotional content, and branded storytelling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.
