Who are we seeking?

CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Associate Producer and Video Editor to join its in-house corporate marketing team, focused on video production in support of the firms’ marketing initiatives, client communications, business development efforts, and recruiting and acquisition needs. CAPTRUST’s marketing strategy is a combination of the high-level activities listed below, which are intended to support the firm’s growth efforts and the needs of its retirement plan, endowment and foundation, and wealth management clients.

  • Targeted messaging communicated through automated marketing platforms and applications, media outlets and publications, corporate websites, and social media
  • Successful application and delivery of the brand through print, electronic, and in-person media to create a consistent and world-class experience for all interactions
  • Real-time support for business development opportunities based on market intelligence, historical data and trends, and understanding of the opportunity to ensure a successful outcome
  • Brand awareness and prequalification of wealth and institutional advisors and firms for potential acquisition
  • Support for events designed to establish CAPTRUST, its advisors, and subject matter experts as thought leaders within appropriate market segments





  • Manage CAPTRUST’s media archives, including 8+ years of video assets, photo archive, motion design system, etc
  • Oversee the storage and backup of all newly created CAPTRUST audio-video content
  • Edit and enhance video content. This includes color correction, audio balancing, and adding graphics
  • Perform essential editing, including:
  • Build out Premiere Pro project files to established specs
  • Sync raw footage in sequences
  • Order and archive paper transcripts
  • Pull and organize footage selects
  • Create radio cuts from selects and/or paper edits
  • Export final compressed files for Vimeo, Libsyn, and social media
  • Research and pull stock music tracks and stock footage clips


Studio Calendar Management:

  • Schedule, coordinate, track, and manage all company and non-company use of the television studio with appropriate internal and external stakeholders


Studio Equipment:

  • Operate a variety of video equipment, including cameras, audio recording devices, and lighting gear
  • Maintain all studio equipment in optimal working order
  • Facilitate updates and repairs to all studio equipment, as needed


Studio Production:

  • Assist CAPTRUST’s Media Producer and Lead Editor on filming of CAPTRUST content
  • Produce select in-house video content in collaboration with the CAPTRUST Marketing team and various internal stakeholders
  • Assist with live streaming in-house events


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a video producer and editor position. Experience in corporate tech or agency is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Portfolio showcasing diverse video projects that demonstrate proficiency in filming, lighting, and editing
