We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Performance Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to design compelling and effective performance creative for digital advertising.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and storyboard video content that meets client goals and resonates with the intended audience.Edit concise video content for use in digital advertising campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Employ video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to edit raw footage, integrate visual effects, transitions, graphics, and sound effects, and ensure smooth, engaging content delivery.
  • Embed direct response elements including impactful calls-to-action, product demonstrations, testimonials, and special offers in video content to enhance conversions and boost sales.
  • Tailor videos for different digital platforms by ensuring compatibility, adjusting aspect ratios, and following platform-specific guidelines and best practices.
  • Possess a basic understanding of performance metrics relevant to the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector.

Additionally, please include a portfolio showcasing your previous work in the performance space (include password if necessary)

 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a web-based team.
  • Experience with performance marketing and an understanding of how to edit for desired performance outcomes (e.g. clicks, conversions, etc.) is a plus.

 

Because our projects can be anywhere from 5-40 hours a week, consultants can either have a full time job currently and do this on the side or be a full time freelancer working on multiple projects at a time.
