Role Description & Responsibilities
This is a full-time, remote contractor role opened to US applicants only. The Editor will be responsible for editing long-form video content into short-form social media clips via Premiere Pro, ensuring quality and consistency across various platforms. Clips are required 7 days a week, but can be delivered ahead of time to take off weekends or desired days.
On a daily basis, the Editor will:
- Review clients’ long-form content
- Identify the best moments for virality
- Edit into 30-90 sec clips curated for social media consumption
- Add subtitles, transitions, zooms, png pop-ups, and SFX
- Deliver content to Account team or to clients in a daily, timely fashion
- Occasionally will distribute the clips to the proper social accounts for extra pay
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in video editing in Premiere Pro
- Understanding social media trends
- Knowledge of video content optimization and digital engagement strategies
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand voice and style guidelines
- Experience with content management systems and video editing software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Background in social media, digital marketing or multimedia production is a plus
