Benchmob offers digital strategy and content creation to some of the best artists in music, as well as some of the most well known brands and public figures on the internet. Our team engages millions of fans across the globe every day, and many of the processes and ideas we come up with set an industry standard and create earned media moments.

We are looking to build a team of creatives who live and breathe on the platform and have great taste across art, culture, and media. Join our dedicated teams in producing some of the best content, rollouts, and campaigns the internet has to offer.

This remote/hybrid role will be full-time and based in the Los Angeles area. We are looking for someone who not only can lead creative, but has the technical skills to create content as well (Adobe suite, video editing, content creation, iPhone content capture, etc).

**The ideal candidate knows internet culture, understands social media through and through, and has a keen eye for what content should look like across all platforms. Please see the bottom of this description on what to submit when applying!

What You’ll Do

You’ll employ your creativity across our clients, providing strategy and ideating content for social media and short-form platforms. As the lead of creative for specified clients, it will be your responsibility, alongside the Accounts Team, to guide the creative strategy and process from briefing to final asset creation. This includes managing freelance and junior creatives. Your daily input in social media content creation is vital. In collaboration with our Accounts Team, you’ll develop ideas that resonate with a client’s voice. Frequent brainstorming sessions with other creatives and internal teams are part of the process.

In addition to some editing of the content you capture, you will sift through content batches, crafting from existing ideas or optimizing new video from b-roll. Understanding how to blend brand guidelines into assets, including static posts and short-form videos, is essential. You’ll be adept at creating content that feels native to the social media landscape.

Your role predominantly involves social media strategy, researching, and understanding effective content, setting us apart from competitors. Keeping abreast of trends and adapting them for client use is key.

What You’re Good At

Managing and briefing creative teams, ensuring strategy isn’t lost across ideations

Leading short form content strategy and possessing a solid understanding of social media platforms

Knowing the best content and understanding the production process of social video and editing

Excellent taste in art, culture, and media

Confidence and comfort talking to brands, teams, and creatives

Building and sharing in your network of creators, having one’s own community of relationships

Hitting deadlines and communicating with account teams to provide deliverables in a timely manner

Proficient in Adobe Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop and Premiere (or similar software)

 

What You Know

Always up to speed on best practices and social trends

Understanding of graphic design best practices

Solid understanding of Gen Z culture

Extensive knowledge of the wider social media space

Experience with social strategy and content production
