The Bilingual Video Editor position describes a non-linear video editor & narrative storyteller (2+ years) fluent in Spanish/English that performs work for the Moore Media Post Production department. These individuals will work on Hispanic projects, aid the Post department in any moderate to advanced editing needs, will often complete project organization and setup, works as a Post representative for that edit work & project through completion. Individual is not limited to work on any specific project and must have ability to rapidly pivot to alternate work. This is an onsite position based in Tulsa, OK.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Post-Production Team & Supervisor in the following areas:
    • Ingesting, culling and tagging footage for use in current or future projects

Note: Specifically, organizing, and updating master B-roll drives for editors & clients

  • Editing/updating existing projects based on client needs
  • Editing/creating new projects from paper edits and scripts
  • Basic audio mixing/normalizing/editing to support video projects
  • Editing promotional pieces and digital assets for use online (email, social media, etc.)
  • Creating final transcripts for spots/projects as they are finalized
  • Coordinating workflow of finalizing DRTV commercials once complete
    • Working with a sound engineer for final audio mastering
    • Completing basic color correction/working with color designer
    • Exporting and quality checking final files for delivery to client/networks for broadcast
  • Graphics creation or animation using After Effects (a plus)
  • DaVinci Resolve coloring from log video (a plus)
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Mac and PC literate
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to adhere to & help to refine detailed processes
  • Engaged and passionate individual with a team-focused mindset

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Non-Linear narrative editing in a professional environment
  • 2+ years of software literacy: Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro CC22+, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English
  • DaVinci Resolve coloring suite knowledge (a plus but not mandatory)
