Our client is seeking a hands-on, creative Associate Producer to join their fast-moving Special Projects team. Starting at 10 – 15 hours per week and ramping to 30-40 hours, this is a 3-month role with strong potential to extend into a long-term engagement (1 year+).
This role will be hybrid in Chicago, onsite 1x per week.
This team plays a key role in developing compelling short-form video content for internal and external use supporting everything from executive storytelling and employee engagement to major events and social campaigns. You’ll be out capturing footage, conducting interviews, and creating high-impact videos that bring the company’s people and culture to life.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can work independently without production crew support, and brings an authentic, human-centered approach to storytelling – think elevated, produced UGC with heart.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot, produce, and edit short-form video content for internal comms, social media, leadership messages, and town halls.
- Capture real-time footage at events and conduct employee and executive interviews.
- Turn around video content quickly often same or next-day delivery.
- Write scripts and interview questions tailored to the projects goal and audience.
- Manage shoot-day gear and logistics, including setup, permissions, and basic travel coordination.
- Contribute to special projects, highlight reels, and video pieces that showcase the company’s innovation, culture, and people.
