Project: Short-form food + culture video series (think Hot Ones meets Chicken Shop Date) for IG & TikTok
Builders is creating sharp, conversation-starting content that bridges divides and brings people together.
We’re looking for a creative, story-driven Food Producer with a sharp sense of humor, strong casting instincts, and a killer track record of viral food content. This person should know the food world well — from restaurants and chefs to pop culture and politics — and know how to create content that feels effortless, fun, and deeply human.
You’ll be hands-on from pre-production through post, delivering episodes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead creative development: pitch ideas, shape story arcs, write interview questions
- Cast talent and identify guest pairings with chemistry and the strongest hooks
- Produce on set to guide story, shape the tone, and find the best moments to highlight
- Write post-scripts and manage each episode delivery efficiently through post production
- Collaborate with editors and social team to execute on ideas/feedback
- Provide organized updates to Director of Content and stakeholders
Requirements
- Must be based in Texas and available for local travel
- Strong portfolio of short-form food, lifestyle, or culture content
- Strong grasp of tone — you know how to balance humor with substance
- Experience producing content from concept to delivery
- Sharp editorial sense and great taste in talent, casting, and unscripted moments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Texas’ food scene and political landscape is a major plus
- Ability to maintain good energy and keep the crew on schedule during production days
